Degree qualification's in arboriculture and environmental management plus over 25 years of high quality experience means we are ideally suited to provide you with the expert approach you need.
What is arboriculture ? Arboriculture is 'urban forestry' - i.e. the managment of trees and woodland in the urban environment.
In practise this means assessing, inspecting, surveying, planting, tree surgery, cable bracing, treatments, dismantling - felling, planting, timber use, soil-remediation, pest and disease control, timber conversion and on-ward use or sale of the products - whilst complying with the statutory laws that involve trees - it is a lot more than just tree-surgery.
Arboriculture has moved on from the days when you had to rely on a 'tree-surgeon' who has only basic chainsaw proficiency certificates (NPTC's). A modern tree company employs arborists who are qualified in arboriculture - not just 'NPTC's' - and are also professional and have ethics. The days of relying on a bloke-with-a-chainsaw for advice are long gone.
Thankfully the modern approach is also cheaper - it is a win-win situation !

Recent videos of a job that involved dismantling three mature trees in a confined space
Traditional Somerset cider orchards have now almost completely gone. Like most others this edge of village site is ear-marked by the owner for development. A major loss to the county and the environment.
Above are two short video of a recent job where we dismantled one Ash & two Poplars in a confined space on a newly completed building site.
